What Is the role?

We are seeking a Senior Deep Learning / Computer Vision Engineer to enhance our pioneering AI-driven diagnostic tools at Artelus. You will play a critical role in developing and refining algorithms that analyze medical imaging data, focusing on applications like diabetic retinopathy screening with DRISTi and retinal analysis using our portable 5g OCT device. Your expertise will drive innovations that improve the accuracy and functionality of our products, directly impacting patient outcomes globally.

About you

As a seasoned engineer, you possess deep expertise in deep learning, computer vision, and machine learning frameworks. Your background includes substantial experience with neural networks, particularly in medical image analysis or similar fields. You are proficient in Python and familiar with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. Your approach to problem-solving is creative and efficient, aimed at developing solutions that are not only effective but also scalable and robust. You are enthusiastic about mentoring junior team members and leading by example in both technical and project management aspects. You value precision and are committed to advancing healthcare through technology. Additionally, experience with model containerization, API building, and deployment to Kubernetes environments is a plus, enhancing your ability to integrate advanced technologies into scalable production systems.

Your Role

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop APIs and manage the deployment of models into production environments using containers and Kubernetes.
